KNOW YOUR GAME

A royal setting for your next match.

The opening screen shows a castle, a Level 1 button, coin and heart counters, and navigation controls. Start the level to see its board-specific objective.

Complete the goal shown for the current level within its available moves. A match can produce an attractive cascade without doing much for the required objective. At the beginning of a board, find the goal display and identify the pieces, tiles, or obstacles it refers to. After a few moves, check whether that target is actually decreasing. Choose progress over a flashy match that leaves the goal untouched.

How to play Royal Match: King's Tale

  1. Select the level button on the castle screen.
  2. Read the current goal and move counter before your first swap.
  3. Swap adjacent pieces to form a match of three or more.
  4. Prioritize matches that advance the objective and inspect the board after each cascade.
Controls

Select the level button from the castle screen. On the board, swap adjacent pieces with a drag or the in-game selection controls.

A useful first strategy

Read what a swap will disturb

A swap changes more than the three matching pieces. It may move a useful color away from a target or drop pieces into a new position. Before committing, inspect the row or column below the match. Lower-board matches often rearrange more of the board, but that is useful only if the rearrangement helps your current objective.

Use special pieces with a purpose

When a level creates a special piece, read its shape and the effect it produces before planning around it. Ask which target it can reach and whether another match would move it into a better position. The timing of an activation can matter as much as creating the special piece in the first place.

Questions about Royal Match: King's Tale

Is this an official site for another game with a similar name?

This is the browser build published in the QS Mini Games catalog. Similar names do not imply an affiliation with another publisher.

Why does a good-looking match fail to finish the level?

A level can require a specific target rather than a score alone. Read the objective display and remaining moves.

Are the castle screen and puzzle board the same thing?

No. The castle screen is the entry screen. Select its level button to open the playable board.
